Burton 1-3 Huddersfield
Huddersfield handed Burton their first home league defeat of the season with a 3-1 victory at the Pirelli Stadium.
Derensili Sanches Fernandes scored one and set up another in a dominant first half for Town, with Finn Delap lashing home his third goal of the season to briefly have Albion level.
The Terriers started the stronger and deservedly took the lead after 22 minutes, Fernandes seizing on a poor pass from Delap across his own penalty area and instinctively firing home.
Burton struggled to threaten their opponents in the first half-hour but were level when Caylan Vickers teed up Delap and the young defender atoned for his earlier error with a fearsome rising drive beyond Matt Young into the top corner.
Town scored a second before the break and this time Fernandes was the provider with a right-wing cross, which Bali Mumba, ghosting into space in the area, finished from five yards.
Delap was close to his second of the game with another fierce shot early in the second half, but this time Young made a good save to deny him.
Instead Huddersfield were gifted a third goal with minutes remaining, George Evans putting his own keeper under pressure with a loose back pass and Ashley Fletcher nipping in to score from close range.
