NASCAR reveals status of Ryan Blaney's No. 12 car at R&D Center

NASCAR took Ryan Blaney's No. 12 car to the R&D Center after the Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway. Following a strong run at Kansas, the sport conducted a closer inspection of Blaney's vehicle; however, did the Team Penske driver receive any penalties?

Blaney's No. 12 car had no issues at the NASCAR R&D Center, which is the best result from further inspection. In previous years, NASCAR has found issues that cost a race team and driver over 100 points and more, so Blaney receiving the green light is excellent news.

Going into Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Blaney sits fifth in the points standings with a 91-point deficit to Kyle Larson. There are six races left in the NASCAR season. The driver of the No. 12 Ford for Team Penske hopes to carry his momentum into Las Vegas, as the organization looks to capitalize on its speed in 2026.
