Eddie Hearn plots shocking switch to Team Chris Eubank Jr. ahead of Conor Benn trilogy

Eddie Hearn 's bad blood with Conor Benn and Dana White is no secret, but his latest move has shaken the entire boxing landscape.

The war between Hearn and White has been public for a long time. Both men have had their moments in the feud, with the UFC CEO likely pushing ahead after snatching prize fighter Conor Benn from under Hearn's nose. But if everything goes according to plan for the British promoter, he'll look to level the score and potentially one-up his rival.

In a significant promotional plot twist, Eddie Hearn revealed he had a pleasant lunch with Chris Eubank Jr., as he looks to bury the hatchet with an old foe.

"Look, stranger things have happened," Hearn said. "I will confirm that I had a very pleasant lunch meeting with Mr. Eubank. And it was nice. It was nice to clear the air a little bit."

Eddie Hearn unapologetically stood by Conor Benn during the media and fans' inquest into his performance-enhancing drugs scandal. But their relationship has since been torn apart , and it looks like Hearn wants to get back at Benn and Dana White.

With his sights set on a potential trilogy clash, Hearn hinted at potentially representing Chris Eubank Jr., saying:

"Certainly, me on Team Eubank against Dana White and Conor Benn makes the fight twice as big, and the trilogy will be interesting."

"But if I'm on Team Eubank, I'll make sure everything's fair this time. You know, I think Chris understands and appreciates that my job last time was to get the edge. And I did that beautifully. Because I spun the other team around my finger, and I enabled Conor Benn to get the advantage going into the fight. That's the game."
