Miami Dolphins Fans: Dolphins vs. SF 49ers Predictions
Miami Dolphins fans share their predictions for tomorrows game versus the San Francisco 49ers.
This past week, I asked the following questions about tomorrow afternoon's game between our Miami Dolphins and the San Francisco 49ers :
What are your predictions, bold or otherwise, for the Miami Dolphins defensively and offensively in this coming Sunday's game Vs the SF 49ers ? Who do you expect to lead the team in key categories like tackles, tackles for loss, pass breakups, interceptions, defensive touchdowns, etc., on defense, and receiving yards, touchdowns, receptions, rushing production, and first downs, etc., on offense? What are your stat-line projections for our key playmakers this week and/or who will be the team's MVPs on each side of the ball?
Below are some of your thoughts and answers
NeenerWhacker sees our Dolphins being handed another ars whippin'.
This is a 42-9 type game. 9ers are a seasoned team, we are unlucky to catch them so early in the season as they generally have multiple injuries by the halfway point. This has blowout written all over it phin phans. Sorry to be so negative tonight. The only way we hang in the game is to slow down that potent rushing attack, win the turnover battle and play great special teams. They will do their best to preserve CMC for more formidable opponents and the playoffs – their rookie backup Black is no slouch, but stymie him and put Shanahan in an uncomfortable position with regard to the apparent CMC pitch count.

I just dont see how we keep them under 30 Stall????

surfla8 has some fishy math, getting the team either blown out or squeaking out a win.
Add 1 toe injury and 1 concussion to 49 and I'm guessing San Fran will put 51 points on us. But we're still gonna win by that last minute safety!

phinette has Achane with a nice game but still an ugly outcome.
This will not be close. I'm predicting 34-10. I think Rodriguez and Brooks will shine, but the secondary will give up some big plays. On offense, Achane will get a combined 120 yards but the O-line will struggle, giving up 5 sacks.

Dolfanjoe just wants to see this team fight.
Next Man up ! Injury bug already coming on strong. Perfect for this team. See what is on the roster, if they are not good enough look for others. If we couldn't beat the Raiders we are not going to beat San Fran. We do want to see them give it Hell though ! Play tough and make them know they were in a game. At least until the 4th quarter when they put there second string in !
sdphinsfan just wants to see some of our top draft picks keep developing.
Prediction 1: Rodriguez forces his first turnover this week. It may be a fumble forced, or a pick. But he'll produce his first one this week. B. Baldinger has a video out there where he does a breakdown on Rodriguez against the Raiders. It's a great breakdown and worth the watch. While there ain't much good in DolphinsLand right now, this kid is… Prediction 2: Douglas and Bell continue to progress. Now, I realize saying that isn't much of a shocker. But it isn't insignificant. It's critically important.

Yarganaught has Miami pulling out a real barn burner.
MiamiItaliano has Douglas with a solid game, but Miami is letting it slip away at the end.
Caleb Douglas 100+ yards Chris Bell 1 TD Dolphins lose by a last second FG
MichaelVal doesn't see much hope for many, if any, wins this season. Probably fair!
Not much of a stretch thinking there's the possibility this team actually going 0-17.
JUK sees a possible blowout on the horizon.
It's a horrible match up for our defense, I'll be delighted if we keep them under 30 points. I'm not sure how much the jet lag game says about their D. It might be much better than last year but the optimist in me thinks we can score some points… if we call a better game than last week rather than throwing deep constantly as soon as we fall behind. I'll say 34-20 Niners, but I can't say I'd be surprised by a blowout

Bill Moody is going to the game and hopefully won't feel the need to throw away another Phins Jersey out of disgust.
Is it bad that I'm going to the game and I'll be cheering for Mike Evans and the SF defense? Has fantasy become more important than reality this season? Perhaps that a question for another article. I'll still be cheering on the Dolphins and hope they win… I guess. For the record, my buddy and I did look for Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell jersey's to wear to the game, but I didn't see them anywhere. It was actually kind of sad, over at the Dolphins shop there's a bunch of jerseys with names I've never even seen before… Who the hell is: Julius Wood , Seydou Traore, Will Kacmarek, Michael Taaffe, Caleb Murphy , Marcellas Dial Jr, Carlos Washington Jr… Are these guys on the team? Who the hell even are they? Then they are still selling Waddle and Cracraft jeresys. (Just FYI – I threw my Orange Waddle jersey in the street outside the sportsbar on Monday. I was wearing it to support my Bronco's fan friend, and I was pissed Bo Nix couldn't get 9 points and I lost my fantasy game. Part of it was the Waddle drop. And yes, I'm the guy that tore off and threw the Tua jersey in the trash last year at Indy. Screw both those guys.. lol). Anyways, we wanted to get the new reciever duo jerseys for the game, but looks like we'll be stuck wearing our generic Dolphins T-shirts. But back to the question at hand, my "bold" prediction is that Caleb Douglas tops 100 yards this game.

SlayerNation1 continues the trend of predicting a blowout loss to the Niners.
SF 45 MIA 16 Too much talk about SF jet lag, let down factor. They have had 10 days to adjust. MIA may be more out of sorts as technically, they will have been traveling for over a week, away from their much ballyhooed A++ facilities. Another week of vanilla, boring football. Diehard Dolphins fans spend another week blaming refs. Mac Jones and backups in the 3rd quarter for SF. After all, it is officially the Preseason for the NFL. Kittle and CMC 300 total yards between them. …. Should be a very hard watch for those actually watching

VolFaninFla would like to submit a revision to the previous Miami Dolphins record prediction.
Sh*t happens, but not this time, shellacking imminent. I recant my 7 wins prediction.

Well, I guess we have close to a consensus, with the vast majority of us seemingly expecting the Dolphins to get blown out this Sunday in epic fashion. Here's to hoping that it's not quite as ugly as most have predicted and that, if nothing else, we continue to see development among our younger players. As always, thank you to each of you who took the time to join in and answer our Phinsider Question Of The Day. Please join us tomorrow afternoon for our live Miami Dolphins @ San Francisco 49ers live thread.
