Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) went after the Trump administration on Wednesday over the investigation into Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who recently had her home raided .

“Me and Ilhan Omar are far apart policy wise. I’m pro life, she’s pro abortion. I’m pro [Second Amendment], she’s pro gun control. And on and on,” Greene said in a post on the social platform X on Wednesday night.

“But can someone tell me how pretending to get ready to deport Ilhan Omar is going to bring gas down under $2, make health insurance freaking affordable, make a family’s weekly grocery bill make sense, and stop sending our beloved military off to fight for another f—ing foreign war???” Greene, who was once a strong Trump supporter but is now a critic, added. “People are so sick and tired of the bulls—.”

On Monday morning , federal agents searched Omar’s home in an ongoing criminal probe. Homeland Security Investigations agents carried out the search, a Justice Department spokesperson told NewsNation, The Hill’s sister network.

“This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation,” the Justice Department said in the statement.

Omar blasted the raid on social media, referring to it as “political intimidation.”

“I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement,” she wrote on X. “For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation.”

The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that the federal investigation targeting Omar has a goal of removing her American citizenship and deporting her from the country, U.S. officials and sources familiar with the matter told the outlet.

“When you dumb mf’ers at the WH actually release the Epstein files and lock up the pedophiles and rapists you all hang out with, then we will start paying attention,” Greene said in her Wednesday post.

The Hill has reached out to the Justice Department and White House for comment.
