Hansi Flick is convinced Barcelona will rebound from the painful back-to-back defeats to Paris Saint-Germain and bitter rivals Real Madrid.
Barça welcome Alaves to the Nou Camp in LaLiga on Saturday looking to bounce back from a 2-1 home El Clásico setback that followed a 4-2 loss at the Champions League holders in France.
Those results brought Barcelona's 11-match winning run at the start of the new season to a crashing halt and even led the club's board of directors to publicly back coach Flick ahead of their return to action.
"The board has reaffirmed its full confidence in the men's first team squad and coaching staff," the club said following Thursday's meeting.
"Despite recent results, the team's enthusiasm and ambition remain undiminished, with the utmost commitment to facing the challenges of the season."
That backing was put to Flick, who has won La Liga in both seasons since taking charge, and he said: "I spoke with the president (Joan Laporta, I'm in contact with (sporting director) Deco and of course it's a nice gesture.
"But, at the end, I know this situation. We lost two important games in one week. But I'm 100% convinced, 100% convinced about my team. I'm doing my job here the best I can, and nothing changed.
"I don't lose any per cent of attitude, mentality to coach this fantastic club, to coach this fantastic team, so I'm very happy to be here and it changed nothing.
"Also in football, we won the first 11 games. Of course, now we have two defeats, so we have to come back on the street to victories. This is our job, what we have to do.
"But I'm 100% convinced about our idea, how we want to play football. I think it also the best for this team so we go this way until the end."
Alaves, who sit seventh in the standings, could make life difficult for Barça, who will be without injured defenders Jules Koundé, Andreas Christensen, Eric Garcia and Xavi Espart.
Head coach Flick said: "It's a long, long way to the end of the season where you can win the titles, and I think also now is a good moment. Nothing happens really bad.
"Of course we lost against Real. No one here loves it – the players not, me not, the fans not, the club not – but at the end we have to manage it.
"I think it was also possible to win this game and we had also great chances, but we have to accept this defeat, and we do it. We have to find solutions and this is how we have to manage it.
"We try to give the best but for tomorrow, it's clear. The most important thing is to win three points."
