Jeremiyah Love Says Cardinals Have Asked Him for Scouting Report on Jadarian Price's 'Weaknesses'

The Arizona Cardinals turned to running back Jeremiyah Love to get whatever edge they could while planning to face his former college teammate Jadarian Price.

"They've been asking me stuff like, 'What are some of his weaknesses?' Stuff like that," Love said, per Pro Football Talk's Michael David Smith . "J doesn't have many weaknesses. If you can get him you got to get him. Once he gets the ball, he gets rolling. It's hard to stop him. He's real fast. . . . You've got to get him early. I think very highly of JD, so I don't really know what to say. Got to get him. Get him before he gets rolling."

Love and Price were on the Fighting Irish together for three seasons. The former played a starring role, with the latter delivering strong numbers as the secondary option on the ground.

Price proceeded to make a nice impression in his first game with the Seattle Seahawks. He carried the ball 10 times for 52 yards in a 13-10 win over the New England Patriots.

His usage could tick upward with Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday because of a glute injury. The coaching staff has had plenty of advance warning to draw up a scheme with a heavier emphasis on the running game if need be.

Unless they're planning to deploy him at linebacker, Love's knowledge of Price probably won't go that far for the Cardinals.
