Is Jalen Coker playing today? Panthers injury update for Week 4

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker was listed as questionable on the team's final Week 4 injury report with the quadriceps injury he suffered last Sunday. However, after missing the entire second half of the team's loss to the Browns , he doesn't appear ready to return to the lineup just yet.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning Coker is unlikely to play in the team's prime-time game against the Detroit Lions . It's unfortunate considering how beatable the Lions secondary has been this year, as they rank 28th in fantasy football points allowed to wide receivers this year.

Xavier Legette is also out for the Panthers with a knee injury.

Coker fantasy managers should prepare to start another player with the Panthers receiver likely out. It's unfortunate, as this would have been a terrific matchup, but those desperate for a replacement can still consider his teammate, Brycen Tremayne. The ex-Stanford receiver made the most of his playtime last week, making four catches for 83 yards.
