Orlando of Haverford, Pennsylvania, posted a 36-hole aggregate score of 3-over 143 in stroke-play qualifying in Clementon, New Jersey, to earn the top seed in the match play bracket.

Orlando will face 16th-seeded Andrew Bailey of Shaker Heights, Ohio, in Saturday morning's first round of match play. Bobby Massa of Dallas had the tournament's only sub-par round, a 1-under-par 69, to take the second seed and will meet Jeronimo Esteve of Windermere, Florida.

Jamie Slonis of Sewell, New Jersey, took senior medalist honors with a 36-hole total of 7-over 147. Slonis, who won the New Jersey Senior Amateur title earlier this month, will oppose Randy Haag of Orinda, California, on Saturday.

The Open division had 78 players competing for 48 spots in three flights of match play while 21 senior players are contending for 16 spots.

The Crump Memorial Tournament is arguably the premier mid-amateur tournament in the United States. Pine Valley regained the No. 1 ranking in the latest Golfweek's Best Classic Courses list.
