Hurricanes’ Ahmad Moten Sr. leaves game vs. Wake Forest with injury

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Miami starting defensive tackle Ahmad Moten Sr. left the Hurricanes' road game with Wake Forest with an injury on Friday night.

Moten, a key part of UM's defense, suffered the injury early on the defense's first drive of the game. He appeared to have injured his left shoulder.

Moten, a potential high-end draft pick in the 2027 draft pick, started the Hurricanes' first two games of the season.

Moten had 31 tackles, nine tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks last season.
