WrestleMania Redemption, The Vision is Cool Again and More WWE Raw Fallout

The Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama hosted the September 7 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix featuring Liv Morgan successfully defending her Women's World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer.

Royce Keys and OTM, collectively known as The 946, went after The Bloodline again by setting fire to The Usos' car. Bayley returned to cost Lyra Valkyria her spot in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match.

Bron Breakker won his men's MITB qualifier after Bronson Reed and Austin Theory helped him take out Oba Femi again.

These were the moments that defined a memorable show that started the push toward Money in the Bank on October 10 while further building up the big stories on Raw.

Stephanie Vaquer and Liv Morgan Redemption

Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42 was one of the biggest disappointments of the weekend, lasting just seven minutes.

While the right woman won to allow La Primera time off to recover from her injuries, it was far from the big 'Mania title match that was promised.

The rematch on Raw got more than twice the time and was significantly better on all fronts.

The two clicked in the ring and delivered a dramatic battle that felt like it could have gone either way.

The overbooked, disappointing finish was expected and protects Vaquer at least for a likely rematch down the line.

Especially since this is the most important rivalry in the Raw women's division, Morgan vs. Vaquer (vs. Becky Lynch) deserves a stronger spotlight going forward.

With the return of Bronson Reed, The Vision feels like a threat again, and that is no coincidence.

While Bron Breakker is the star of the show, Reed and his Tsunami finisher played a crucial role in making The Vision look dangerous.

The one-two punch of Breakker and Reed looks like it could genuinely take down anyone. It was even a problem for Roman Reigns to contend with.

Logan Paul should also be near his return from injury, so the often-mocked stable might be ready to go on the run that was expected of the talent last year.

If so, Raw should get much more interesting as this Vision could be as much a threat to any championship picture as any other stable in WWE right now.

Bayley is back, likely indicating she has re-signed with WWE. Given the murky contract negotiations, The Role Model could well have left the company.

Instead, with Bayley back in a major role, it is time to start using her like the multiple-time world champion she is.

The Role Model continues to be the odd woman out in WWE. While Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair are consistently positioned as top stars, Bayley—one of the remaining Four Horsewomen in WWE—is too often relegated to a supporting role.

This was especially true in 2026 when she could barely get TV time in her tag team with Lyra Valkyria. Her feud seemed to mostly elevate the Irish wrestler, though that has not stuck due to a lack of commitment to Valkyria since.

Regardless of where Valkyria goes next, though, Bayley must be treated as an important member of the women's roster going forward.

Especially at a time when WWE cannot seem to sustain stories in the women's division outside the title scenes, anyone feuding with Bayley should be treated as a big deal.

Triple H Must Go with Young MITB Winners

Few WWE concepts have suffered more in the modern era than Money in the Bank.

Each year, the premium live event sets up two new title challengers, but most of the time, the cash-ins are rushed with lackluster follow-up.

In particular, stars such as Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre and Tiffany Stratton have not benefited from their wins.

Naomi could have been a rare exception, but she never had a chance to truly run with the gold after cashing in successfully.

This year, all eyes will be on WWE's creative team, particularly Triple H, to set up the company's future megastars.

Bron Breakker and Sol Ruca are two intriguing prospects to win the briefcase, but even if they do succeed, it is the cash-in that truly sets up the star.

This is not the time for cheap cash-ins on vulnerable champions. This is the time to make clear the winners of both briefcases are the future and will use their opportunity to make their name in the long term.

Other stars who could benefit from strong booking in this case would be Trick Williams, Roxanne Perez, Je'Von Evans and Blake Monroe.

No matter who emerges victorious from the men's and women's Money in the Bank ladder matches, this is the time to commit big and not hold back in selling the winner as the next big star in wrestling.

The 946 Needs a Big Win Over The Bloodline

Royce Keys and OTM again closed out Raw by getting the better of The Bloodline.

All signs are pointing to the group as a real threat to The Bloodline, but WWE has set up many challengers in the past without success.

This cannot be a short-term push. WWE must sell The 946 as a real threat to The Bloodline, bigger than The Vision or Solo Sikoa's Bloodline.

In particular, the stable will need more numbers first, but the long-term goal should be sustained victory in the ring.

OTM should be a real threat to the Raw tag team division. Keys should be in world title contention quickly. The 946 should also defeat The Bloodline in WarGames this year.

That would make it clear that this is not just a temporary threat built up only to lose at WarGames, as has happened in most other years. This is a crew that can fight the best and win together.
