Did Caitlin Clark really vomit at halftime vs. Aces?

Caitlin Clark left it all on the court in Game 2 of the Indiana Fever 's first-round playoff series against the Las Vegas Aces . Literally.

The dynamic guard revealed after the Fever's 99-89 win that she vomited in a trash can at halftime. Clark says it was a result of sheer effort rather than sickness, so she jokingly doubled down on vomiting again during Game 3.

"Your back's up against the wall," Clark said . "You only have one more opportunity. Get ready to dominate and give it everything you can. To be honest, I threw up everything in my stomach at halftime. I was just out there so tired. It's not because I didn't feel good or anything; I was just that gassed.

"Let's throw up again at halftime of the next game. Just means you're working hard and leave it all out there. You're only guaranteed another 40 minutes, so just really proud of this group."

Clark tallied 27 points, 15 assists and seven rebounds to help stave off an Aces team that got great performances out of A'ja Wilson and Jackie Young . Now, both teams' seasons are on the line with Game 3 looming.

The winner-take-all Game 3 is set for Thursday at 9 p.m. ET in Las Vegas .
