Eagles-Rams Week 4 prediction
How are you feeling about this matchup?
Prior to last week's game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears, I wrote about how the onus was on Vic Fangio's defense to rise to the challenge. They did not.
This week, I feel like the onus is on Nick Sirianni. This isn't a must-win game for the Eagles. The Rams are a tough opponent and the Eagles are missing some key players (then again, so is LA).
It IS a must-compete game. The Eagles must put forth a better effort than we saw on Monday night. They can't look totally outcoached again.
This is a rare instance where it feels like a moral loss is an acceptable outcome. I'm not saying it'll feel great. Losing sucks. But this team hasn't played a very inspiring brand of football for most of this season. It would be encouraging to see improvement, even if it doesn't result in a win.
If the Eagles look out of sorts coming off an embarrassing loss and Sirianni can't get the team ready to play, well, what are we doing here?
Score prediction: 28 to 24, Eagles lose.
Bold prediction: The Eagles go a fourth straight game without a takeaway.
