Mike Washington couldn’t ignite run game in Week 4

How did Las Vegas’ rookie class fare in Week 4?

· 284 words

Here is a look at how the Las Vegas Raiders' 2026 draft class (eight of the 10 picks are on the 53-man roster) fared in a 30-27 Week 4 home loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and what to look for Sunday at the New England Patriots:

Fernando Mendoza: The No. 1 overall pick served as Kirk Cousins backup. He hasn't played all season.

The Raiders' second-round pick returned from being out with a concussion in Week 3 and he played all 60 defensive snaps. He nearly had an interception and finished with two tackles.

The third-round pick played five offensive plays in a Jumbo set and he played two special teams snaps. He missed some time with an injury, but he returned.

The fourth-round pick played 17 snaps on special teams. He didn't play defense for the third time in four games. He has played 18 defensive snaps this season.

The fourth-round pick played a season-high 18 snaps and he had a season-high nine carries. He finished with just 18 yards. He has 24 carries for 110 yards. He also had his first catch for minus-1 yard receiving. While he didn't get anything going Sunday, it wouldn't be a surprise if the Raiders use Washington more gain at New England in an attempt to spark a lacking ground game.

The fifth-round pick safety was active for the first time. He played 12 special-teams snaps. It will be interesting to see if he continues to be active.

The fifth-round pick played all but two snaps against the Chiefs. He flashed as usual for the most part.

The sixth-round pick played seven offensive snaps with no targets. He had one punt return for four yards.
