Alabama basketball guard Aden Holloway has been reinstated to the Crimson Tide's roster.

The senior entered a second-chance program following his arrest for marijuana possession in March, had his charges dismissed and has met the requirements necessary to rejoin Alabama on the floor.

Despite not officially being a member of the team as he navigated the legal process, Holloway was permitted to participate in summer workouts and has been involved with the 2026-27 squad.

Per a report from Al.com on Tuesday, Oct. 6, Holloway is rostered and "will be suspended for three exhibition games against Furman, Ole Miss and Auburn and two regular season games against Sam Houston and Arkansas State."

Holloway entered the second-chance program in an effort to clear his charges in June, which required court-mandated $150 monthly payments, 50 community service hours, as well as random drug and alcohol screenings.

In his second season at Alabama, Holloway shot better than 48% to average 16.8 points and 3.8 assists per game. He was arrested on March 16 for possessing 2.1 pounds of marijuana and failure to affix a tax stamp and was released on the same day.

The Crimson Tide officially starts the 2026-27 season Nov. 3 against Sam Houston in Coleman Coliseum.
