Like the original N64 and 3DS version, Ocarina of Time Remake features 100 collectible Gold Skultula spiders hidden throughout Hyrule. Collecting them will allow you to earn special rewards, including bigger wallets and heart pieces. Even if you think you've seen them all, you'll find that the Remake on Switch 2 includes locations that differ from their original locations. This page includes every Gold Skulltula location in the remake, in the order you can find them based on your progression through the story.

Below, you'll find the complete list of all 100 Gold Skulltulas, which are numbered in addition to the region you can find them in -- some while you're in the child era, others in the adult era (and some in both). While all Gold Skulltulas can be tricky to spot, there are a few ways they can be tracked:

Outside of dungeons, most Gold Skulltulas can only be found at night. You can tell where they will appear by looking for small golden spiderwebs in out of the way locations.

In outdoor areas, certain Gold Skulltulas can also be found in tall narrow trees that emit a soft glow. By rolling into one, you can force them to fall down.

Patches of soft soil that you can plant mysterious seeds in also hide Gold Skulltulas. To force them out, capture a Beetle in a bottle, and let it loose near soft soil.

Each main Dungeon contains 4-5 Gold Skulltulas.

The first Gold Skulltula you can find in the Great Deku Tree is located on the top Floor 3F of the dungeon, found in the room with the Compass. You'll need to step on the small stone switch to raise up three platforms in the middle of the room, but instead of cross, stick to the left side of the middle platform. Defeat the Skulltula blocking a high ledge, then jump up to find the Gold Skulltula against the wall at your height.

A second Gold Skultula that can be found in the Great Deku Tree dungeon, this one can be found as soon as you reach the top of the dungeon and jump down to create a hole to the basement by destroying the webbing in the center of the room. As you swim out of the pool of water, be sure to turn around. There's a large vine wall leading back up to the first floor in case you need to get back, but more importantly is a Gold Skultula. You can defeat it with your slingshot, and then climb up to retrieve the token.

A third Gold Skultula that can be found in the Great Deku Tree dungeon, this one can be found as soon as you reach the top of the dungeon and jump down to create a hole to the basement by destroying the webbing in the center of the room, and is located in the same area as the previous Gold Skultula.

As you drop down near the large dividing pool of water, check the northern side to find a large grate where a third Gold Skultula is hiding. You can shoot it from afar with your Slingshot, and then leap to the grate to claim the token.

The fourth and final Gold Skulltula found in the Great Deku Tree dungeon can be found in the basement B1 level along with two others. To reach it, you'll need to make your way through the passageways in the northwest, located west of the webbed hole leading down to the boss arena on B2.

The room the Gold Skultula is hiding in is the one where three Gohma Larva will fall down from the ceiling. Once defeated, note the webbing in the top northwest corner of the room. Use the nearby lit torch to light up a Deku Stick so you can burn the webbing away, and defeat the Deku Baba and regular Skulltula guarding the path to the final Gold Skultula of this dungeon. It's sitting high on some vines at the back of the room, and you can slingshot it before climbing up to get the token.

As soon as you enter Hyrule Field for the first time, there are already two Gold Skulltulas that you can track down, if you know where to look. One is hidden in a tree on the eastern side of Hyrule Field, not far from the entrance to the Kokiri Forest. Cross the small stream to reach it, and then roll into the tree, and a Gold Skulltula will fall out.

While the Hyrule Castle Town is a fairly busy area, you can actually find a Gold Skulltula hiding in the town as soon as you enter from Hyrule Field. Start by taking an immediate right into a room by the castle town gate, and you'll find an armory room littered with pots and crates, and one very bored guardsman. Roll into the large crates by the guard at the far end of the room to find one is hiding a Gold Skultula, which you can kill and claim its token.

Of the two Gold Skulltulas found in Hyrule Castle, one of them can be found immediately on your first time through the area. To reach it, you'll need to make your way past the initial group of guards by the front gate, which means climbing up and over the gatehouse, and jumping down into the gardens. From here, dart between the hedges by taking the middle path, and then hang around the outside to climb up the western wall to bypass the large locked gate. Look for a small enclosed area to the right of the vine wall leading up to the moat for some barrels and sacks, and a lone tall and narrow tree. Roll into it, and you'll dislodge a Gold Skulltula from its hiding place!

Of the three Gold Skulltulas found in Lon Lon Ranch, only one of them can be obtained during your first visit. As you enter the ranch, be sure to check around the northeast side of the ranch, behind the main house Talon is in. There's a small yard area with a wooden tower, and two trees. Roll into the tall and narrow tree, and you can dislodge a Gold Skulltula here!

There are several Gold Skulltula lurking around Kakariko Village due to the proximity to the Cursed Spider House. One such Gold Skulltula is hiding atop the main tall tree at the entrance to the village, where the Master Craftsman yells at his workers all day (and where his son slinks out to and rests at night). Roll into the tree to dislodge the spider and claim its token.

Gold Skulltula 10 - Kakariko Village (Night)

There are several Gold Skulltula lurking around Kakariko Village due to the proximity to the Cursed Spider House. One can actually be found by simply walking outside the Cursed Spider House and waiting for nightfall. A small golden spiderweb just to the left of the door is its hiding spot, where the Gold Skulltula will appear only at night!

Gold Skulltula 11 - Kakariko Village (Night)

Once night has fallen in Kakariko Village, inspect the building under construction on the south side of the village, near the Cucco Lady, and you'll find a Gold Skulltula on a high ledge of the red brick wall, and you can use the scaffolding to reach it.

Gold Skulltula 12 - Kakariko Village (Night)

Another Gold Skulltula similarly only appears at night in Kakariko Village, and can be found along the ladder of the tall wooden tower in the center of town, along the pathway up to the Gate to Death Mountain. Hit it with your slingshot and then climb up to retrieve the token.

Gold Skulltula 13 - Kakariko Village (Night)

Another Gold Skulltula in Kakariko Village is hiding out of view, and likewise only appears at night. To the south of the wooden tower and Potion Shop is another building where a little boy lives (usually out playing in the graveyard), and if you circle around the back of the house, you can find a Gold Skulltula in its web along the building wall.

Gold Skulltula 14 - Kakariko Village Graveyard

There are two Gold Skulltulas in the Graveyard beyond Kakariko Village, but one can be reached earlier than the other as a child. You can head up the steps on the left side to find a plot of soft soil on the other side of a small tree. Drop a Bug from your bottle (if you don't have one, look under the stones at the Graveyard entrance), and it will fish out a Gold Skulltula for you to defeat!

Once you've obtained an Empty Bottle and place a bug in it, return to Kokiri Forest. Look around the back of the Kokiri Shop, and you should be able to spot a patch of soft soil. Plant a bug in it, and a Gold Skulltula will jump out for you to slay.

Gold Skulltula 16 - Kokiri Forest (Night)

While you can't find this Gold Skulltula when your adventure first starts, you can return here after meeting Princess Zelda and the time of day begins to change from day to night. Use the Sun's Song (or sleep in Link's bed) to make sure it's nightfall in the forest, and then check around the back of the Home of the Know-It-All Brothers by the Training Grounds. It's here you'll find a new Skulltula hiding along the treehouse wall.

Upon entering the Lost Woods with a Bug in a bottle, take a left as soon as you enter. From this grove with the solitary Skull Kid, be sure to move south through a nearby tunnel. It will take you to a high ledge overlooking the bridge leading out of Kokiri Forest, and you can find some soft soil here. Drop a bug in, and out will pop another Gold Skulltula to defeat.

Upon entering the Lost Woods with a Bug in a bottle, take the path to where the shortcut to Goron City is. Head right to the pool of water, then left going north, and take another left. This will lead you to a smaller meadow teeming with several Business Scrubs. On the side near a large tree is some soft soil, which you can again drop a Bug into (one of the scrubs actually sells Bugs!) to reveal the last Gold Skulltula that you can get for now in this area.

Gold Skulltula 19 - Death Mountain Trail

Once you have obtained the Goron Bracelet from Daruina in Goron City, you'll be able to pick up and throw Bomb Flowers. Exit Goron City back onto the Death Mountain Trail. Head over to the Goron babysitting the lone Bomb Flower, and try grabbing it. You can then toss it over the ledge and down toward the large cracked boulder blocking the entrance to Dodongo Cavern, which will explode to reveal its entrance!

Note the patch of soft soil just inside the tunnel, and drop a Bug inside to scare out a Gold Skulltula that you can defeat for a token.

Near the end of the hallway is a shorter ledge, with three more Baby Dodongo that appear. Before you slice them, look to the right for a large cracked wall. Lure the Baby Dodongos over and defeat one when it's close to the wall, and it will explode like a bomb to break apart the wall, revealing a Gold Skulltula to defeat and grab its token!

One of several Gold Skulltulas that can be found in the Dodongo Cavern dungeon, this one can be found in the first hallway leading east from the main entrance hall with the giant skull. Near the back of the hall where three Baby Dodongos emerge is a large cracked wall. While there are no Bomb Flowers around, you can either lure the exploding enemies near the wall, or come back with bombs when you have them. Behind the cracked wall is a Gold Skulltula flanked by a few Keese waiting to ambush you.

One of several Gold Skulltulas that can be found in the Dodongo Cavern dungeon, this one can be found on the northwestern side of the first floor, off the main entrance room with the large skull, Make your way north to an area with a large raised staircase high above you. There are Bomb Flowers all around its base, with a small gap near the front. Look for a separate Bomb Flower away from the rest, and place it in the small gap so you can unleash one continuous explosion setting off all the bombs in a chain around the stairs.

This will erode the structure, causing it to sink into the ground, and make the large staircase accessible to climb up. Head up from the large stairs to the higher level on the south side of the room, but be sure to turn around before you reach the exit. There's a large mesh wall here, with a Gold Skulltula hanging from the side among some Skullwalltulas. Hit them with slingshots, then climb up the mesh to grab your token.

One of several Gold Skulltulas that can be found in the Dodongo Cavern dungeon, you can find this one on the second floor of the large entrance hall, just after acquiring a Bomb Bag and some Bombs. At the far northeast corner of this area by the giant skull, there's another cracked wall you can detonate with a bomb. This will reveal a room with two Dodongos pacing around a large rock in the middle of the room, and on the other side you'll find a Gold Skulltula hiding (which can be killed by a detonating Dodongo!).

One of several Gold Skulltulas that can be found in the Dodongo Cavern dungeon, you'll find this spider after you have unlocked the secret passage through the giant skull by dropping bombs in the eye sockets.

Head through to a room with several narrow pathways and stone blocks to push around and drop. After pushing the block down to the lower level, be sure and push the fallen block all the way to the far wall, where there's a ledge with a large cracked wall. Toss a bomb on top of the stone block to blast apart the wall, then climb up to find a small room. There are several Baby Dodongos waiting to ambush you, and near the back you'll find a Gold Skulltula hiding behind an Armos statue, which you can also toss a bomb at to detonate them both (or lure the Baby Dodongos into)!

Gold Skulltula 24 - Death Mountain Trail

After you have acquired the Bomb Bag from Dodongo Cavern, return to the start of the Death Mountain Trail. Just after rounding the corner from the path to Kakariko Village, look for a cracked stone wall by the Red Tektites. You can blow up the wall, and even if it's not nightfall, a Gold Skulltula can be found on the other side for you to defeat.

After getting the Bomb Bag, return to Goron City. On the entrance tier, head along to the upper left side and blast through the boulders to find a room full of brown and gray rocks, as well as strange black obelisks.

You can bomb a path through the cracked boulders heading right, then left, then straight to find two Treasure Chests with a Blue Rupee apiece, and a crate hiding a Gold Skulltula!

Gold Skulltula 26 - Death Mountain Crater

Once you're able to reach the summit of Death Mountain after completing Dodongo Cavern, there's a Gold Skulltula hiding in the extreme heat of the Death Mountain Crater. Be warned, after around 4 seconds, you'll start to take a quarter heart damage every second, so you'll need to move quickly.

Since you'll want to move quickly here, focus on running forward and look for two wooden crates by a pot on the left side. Roll into the furthest crate to find a Gold Skulltula hiding inside.

On the southern side of Hyrule Field, look for a large wooded area south of Lon Lon Ranch. Over by a large Peahat, there's a crack on the ground you can use a bomb on to reveal a Grotto. Inside the Grotto, you can find another Gold Skulltula to defeat.

Once you have a Bomb Bag from completing Dodongo's Cavern, you'll be able to head into the Zora River region south of Kakariko Village. You can then blow up the boulders blocking access along the river. This leads to a man selling Magic Beans, which can be planted in the soft soil you can also find Gold Skulltulas in. One such patch of soft soil is right next to the Bean Seller, and so you can lure out a Gold Skulltula here by dropping a Bug into the soil.

Once you have a Bomb Bag from completing Dodongo's Cavern, you'll be able to head into the Zora River region south of Kakariko Village. Head all the way up the river path to the hidden entrance to Zora's Domain behind a large waterfall. While inspecting the area around the falls, you can jump down at the base of the falls, and there's vines near a central platform to take you back up. Be sure to stick around this area at night, as a Gold Skulltula will appear around the backside of where the vines are for you to defeat.

One of several Gold Skulltulas that can be found in the Lake Hylia region to the south of Hyrule Field, you can find this one by the large observatory building. Outside, you can find a patch of soft soil, so be sure to send a Bug from a bottle in to scare up a Gold Skulltula.

One of several Gold Skulltulas that can be found in the Lake Hylia region to the south of Hyrule Field, this spider is in a location exclusive to the remake of Ocarina of Time, located at the far edge of the lake. From the large island with the huge tree and pedestal, start swimming for the far shores to the southwest.

Along the southern tip, look for the smallest of ledges you can climb up to find a tunnel entrance. You can shuffle through to the other side, where you'll find a Gold Skulltula.

After you've found the Empty Bottle in Lake Hylia with a note from Princess Ruto, you can show it to King Zora to be granted access to where Lord Jabu Jabu is at the Zora Fountain.

Off to the south, you can find a shallow path leading to a section of land with a few trees and a large cracked wall. Be sure to try rolling into the narrow tall trees here, and you can dislodge a Gold Skulltula!

Gold Skulltula 33 - Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly

One of the several Gold Skulltulas you can find within Jabu-Jabu's Belly, the dungeon atop Zora Fountain, you'll find this area soon after following Princess Ruto down to level B1, and taking the passage north. Located in this room, find a sunken area in the middle, you can step on the glowing switch in the middle to raise the water level here. Check out the vines leading up to a high ledge on the western side, where you'll find a few pots stashed away next to a Gold Skulltula!

Gold Skulltula 34 - Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly

One of the several Gold Skulltulas you can find within Jabu-Jabu's Belly, you'll need the Boomerang in order to obtain the spider's token. After you've defeated all the parasite tendrils blocking access to the two-tier room full of pits, jump down the blue-colored pit to a high ledge. From this ledge, first look to the north where some Biri float around to spot a Gold Skulltula along the wall. Using your Boomerang, you can now both hit it from a distance, and recover the Skull Token using your Boomerang!

Gold Skulltula 35 - Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly

One of the several Gold Skulltulas you can find within Jabu-Jabu's Belly, you'll need the Boomerang in order to obtain the spider's token. After you've defeated all the parasite tendrils blocking access to the two-tier room full of pits, jump down the blue-colored pit to a high ledge. Head down the hall toward the room to the northwest. This small corridor also has another Gold Skulltula hiding along the ceiling, which you can dislodge with your Boomerang and claim its token.

Gold Skulltula 36 - Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly

One of the several Gold Skulltulas you can find within Jabu-Jabu's Belly, you can find this spider in the final large room leading to the Boss arena. In this room with a sealed door and a very tall pillar with vines on the back side, look around to the backside of the tall pillar, and along the vines leading up to the top, you can find the last Gold Skulltula to claim in this dungeon with a shot from your Boomerang or Slingshot!

Gold Skulltula 37 - Zora Fountain (Night)

There's a Gold Skulltula hiding in the Zora Fountain, but it can only be obtained once you have access to the Boomerang from completing Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly. Upon returning to the fountain, be sure to play the Sun's Song here. Look for a nearby archway in the water you can climb up, and on the far wall, a Gold Skulltula will appear at night, and you can toss your Boomerang to collect its token.

Gold Skulltula 38 - Lon Lon Ranch (Night)

One of two Gold Skulltulas that you may have seen early in Lon Lon Ranch, these spiders can only be claimed once you have completed Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly atop Zora Fountain. Now armed with your Boomerang, check out the main house just by the racetrack entrance at night, and you can find a Gold Skulltula hiding on a window that you can defeat and grab its token with your Boomerang.

Gold Skulltula 39 - Lon Lon Ranch (Night)

One of two Gold Skulltulas that you may have seen early in Lon Lon Ranch, these spiders can only be claimed once you have completed Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly atop Zora Fountain. Enter the crumbling tower in the southwest corner of the ranch at night, the one that was hiding a Piece of Heart. Look up for a high ledge with vines you can't quite reach, but your Boomerang can reach the Gold Skulltula skittering around above and nab its token.

Gold Skulltula 40 - Kakariko Village Graveyard (Night)

Once you've obtained the Boomerang from Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly (or retrieved the Hookshot as an adult in the Kakariko Village's Graveyard, head back into the Graveyard at night. Look behind Dampe's cabin, and you'll find another Gold Skulltula waiting for you on a high wall. Now with your Boomerang, you'll be able to defeat it and claim its token.

Gold Skulltula 41 - Gerudo Valley (Night)

Though most of the region of Gerudo Valley is inaccessible to Child Link, there are a few Gold Skulltulas you can locate. Upon entering the Valley entrance, you'll approach a small wooden plank over a pool of water. Be sure to play the Sun's Song to turn day to night. Soon, a Golden Skulltula will emerge under the bridge, and you can hop down to defeat it and claim its token.

Though most of the region of Gerudo Valley is inaccessible to Child Link, there are a few Gold Skulltulas you can locate. Look around the bridge for a wandering Cucco, grab it and look down at the bottom of the valley with the raging river below that feeds out to Lake Hylia. Jump off with the Cucco and slowly float down to a large alcove along the waterline.

It's here you'll find a lone Gerudo tending to her cow, and nearby is a patch of soft soil you can drop a Bug in to make another Gold Skulltula pop out.

While there are several Gold Skulltulas you can find in Laky Hylia, one will require the Boomerang found in Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly. Head up to the Observatory and start walking across the rope bridge. Play the Sun's Song to turn day to night, and look back to spot a Gold Skulltula just out of reach, that you can now retrieve the token from with your Boomerang.

Gold Skulltula 44 - Kakariko Village (Night)

Returning to Kakariko Village once you are an adult, you'll be prompted to investigate the Graveyard and challenge Dampe's ghost to a race, earning the Hookshot as a reward. Return to the village when night falls, and look around the left side of Impa's old house for a clump of vines leading up to a high ledge. You can zip to them with the hookshot, allowing you to reach the stables behind with a cow, and a Gold Skulltula in hiding.

After you've claimed the Hookshot from beating Dampe's Ghost at a race in the Kakariko Village Graveyard, return to Hyrule Castle Town and dodge the Redeads that have overrun the plaza to reach what remains of Hyrule Castle. Now Ganon's Castle, there's not much left of the original castle, but you can find the old archway of the gatehouse. Look around the back side just over the large pit to find a Gold Skulltula hiding high up above, and nab its token with the Hookshot.

Gold Skulltula 46 - Kokiri Forest (Night)

Armed with the Hookshot gained from beating Dampe's Ghost Race, return to Kokiri Forest, and clear out the enemies who have moved in. Once night falls (or use the Sun's Song), head around to the back of the Twin's House (the one closest to the tunnel leading to the Great Deku Tree), and you can find a Gold Skulltula hiding high up at the top, and can be hit with the Hookshot.

When you're still Child Link, be sure to purchase some Magic Beans from the Bean Seller in Zora River. Then head to the Lost Woods entrance, and find a hidden grove by going right, left to the Goron City shortcut, left to the Zora River shortcut, left, and left again. Look for a patch of soft soil by a large tree to plant the beans in.

Return once you're an adult, and you can ride a floating plant up to a high ledge where a Gold Skulltula has been waiting for you.

In the large Sacred Grove area past the Lost Woods that leads to the Forest Temple, carefully advance through the narrow paths defeating the Moblins from behind until you reach the large stairway up. Instead, turn around to find an opening in the ruins leading to a Fairy Fountain, as well as a ladder shortcut leading to the top of the ruins you can jump over to quickly head back. As you jump back, check the eastern side near the roots of a large tree for a Gold Skulltula hanging to the high walls, and nab it with your Hookshot.

One of several Gold Skulltulas that can be found in the Forest Temple during the Adult Link timeline, you can find this spider immediately upon entering the temple. In the large entrance room, you'll need to climb a large tree full of vines to reach a key at the top. After climbing up, turn around to spot the Gold Skulltula at the very top of the tree vines to hit with your Hookshot.

One of several Gold Skulltulas that can be found in the Forest Temple during the Adult Link timeline, you can find this spider early on. As soon as you reach the main foyer of the Forest Temple where the Poe Sisters disappear with their torches, head directly north up the stairs toward a door with a green stained-glass window. At the top of the stairs, turn to the right toward a blue-tinted window, and you'll find the Gold Skulltula hanging onto the inside of the wall here.

One of several Gold Skulltulas that can be found in the Forest Temple during the Adult Link timeline, you can find this spider after you've defeated the first few Poe Sisters and claimed the Fairy Bow. Return to the third floor and shoot the eye above a door leading down a red twisting hallway to straighten the hall out. On the other side, grab the Boss Key and then look for a hole to drop down onto floor 1F. This path will take you out onto a balcony overlooking the northwest outdoor courtyard with the well entrance. Before exiting the balcony, carefully walk along the ledge to the south past a door, and around a corner to find a Gold Skulltula up here.

Requires: Hookshot. Fairy Bow, Scarecrow's Song

One of several Gold Skulltulas that can be found in the Forest Temple during the Adult Link timeline, you can find this spider after you've defeated the first few Poe Sisters and claimed the Fairy Bow. Once you have enough Small Keys, head up to the third floor and go down the twisting red hallway, through the Poe Sister Rooms and to the end of the straight blue hallway, where you can unfreeze an eye target to twist the blue hallway. This will open up a pit to drop back down to floor 1F, and the path here will lead you out onto a ledge above the northeast outdoor courtyard. You can push a block here for a shortcut, but if you look up above, you can spot some gusting wind. You'll need to play the Scarecrow's Song to summon Pierre, and then hookshot up to the high ledge using the scarecrow to find the Gold Skulltula up here.

One of several Gold Skulltulas that can be found in the Forest Temple during the Adult Link timeline, you can find this spider after you've defeated the all four Poe Sisters and unlocked the elevator to the basement. As soon as you arrive in B1, turn around and look for a small room to the south. It's guarded by a Skulltula, but after defeating it you can walk into the room and look to the right to find a Gold Skulltula as well. If the way is blocked, just keep pushing the handholds around to open the room to open up access to the southern alcove.

After you visit the Windmill as Adult Link and learn the Song of Storms from the crazed Windmill Man, you can use it to reveal certain grottos. Return to Child Link after completing the Forest Temple, and head back to Hyrule Castle. Evade the guards until you return to the spot where Malon was sleeping, and in the southeast corner by the tree you can find a strange plant with propeller-looking leaves. Play the Song of Storms to make the leaves spin and reveal a Grotto. Down below, bomb the cracked walls to locate a Gold Skulltula.

There's a tricky Gold Skulltula hiding in Hyrule Field, but the process to uncover it will involve a bit of time travel. Because of this, its easier to do after completing the Forest Temple, when you can freely swap between Child and Adult Era. As Child Link, head to the southeast part of Hyrule Field in a small wetland area with several large Peahats. Near one of the Peahats is a cracked stone on the ground you can bomb to reveal a Grotto. Inside, you can find fairy writing that urges you to destroy the regular Skullwalltula here.

After doing this, take the Master Sword and become Adult Link, and return to the Grotto. With the Skullwalltula gone, a Gold Skulltula will have taken its place.

There's only one Gold Skulltula hiding in an early dungeon you'll first explore a child, but can only claim the token as an adult. Once you've become Adult Link and gained the Hookshot, head to Lake Hylia to learn the Scarecrow's Song, and then head up the Death Mountain Trail to re-enter Dodongo Cavern. Take the pathway off the main entrance hall to the first hallway to the east where you encounter some Baby Dodongos. Nearby you'll find a high ledge with gusting wind, and you can play the Scarecrow's Song to summon Pierre. Hookshot up to him, and you can claim the Gold Skulltula token.

Upon returning to Goron City as Adult Link, you'll find a new Gold Skulltula hiding in the city when night falls outside. Drop down from the highest ring to one level below, and move around to the back of the high central platform that used to hold the Spiritual Stone of Fire. At the back of the rock jutting downward, you'll find a Gold Skulltula.

Gold Skulltula 58 - Death Mountain Crater

This Gold Skulltula resides in the burning heart of Death Mountain, but to reach it, you'll need to have gained access to the Fire Temple as Adult Link. Once you do, make sure you have a bottled Bug, and return back to being Child Link and play the Bolero of Fire to warp outside the temple. Quickly plant the bugs into the nearby soft soil to reveal a Gold Skulltula.

One of several Gold Skulltulas that are hiding within the Fire Temple, you can find this spider early on in your exploration. Soon after entering, head from the entrance hall to the eastern room, a large area filled with lava and moving platforms. Make your way to the top northeast corner of the room to find a high ledge with a large blue block you can use the Song of Time to move out of the way. Head through the door and fend of Flying Tiles and a Like Like to find a Gold Skulltula in the back of the room.

One of several Gold Skulltulas that are hiding within the Fire Temple, you can find this spider early on in your exploration. After creating a lift up to floor 3F, you'll enter a large room full of rolling boulders on the eastern side of the map. Hop down and avoid the boulders as you make your way along the walls to the north. Look for a cracked wall, and bomb it to reveal a Gold Skulltula.

One of several Gold Skulltulas that are hiding within the Fire Temple, this spider is one of two you can find after you've explored the large eastern room on 3F on both sides, and raced the fire wall to a high ledge leading back to the upper platforms of the room with the rolling boulders. Jump to the first platform and turn around to see a gust of wind on a high ledge above, and play the Scarecrow Song to reveal Pierre. Hookshot up to him, and look for a nearby platform to hookshot to, taking you up to floor 4F, at the top of the mesh walls by the door to floor 5F, you'll find a Gold Skulltula.

After you enter the large circular room, look along the inner wall over a lava pit to spot the Gold Skulltula.

One of several Gold Skulltulas that are hiding within the Fire Temple, you can find this spider after acquiring the Megaton Hammer within the dungeon. Once you have the special item, return to the entrance hall, and knock aside a statue blocking a door in the lower right corner. Follow the hall to a room with several Flying Tiles and a Like Like, and then destroy the large rock at the back of the room to reveal a Gold Skulltula.

Gold Skulltula 64 - Death Mountain Trail (Night)

After obtaining the Megaton Hammer from the Fire Temple, return to the Death Mountain Trail's summit by the Great Fairy Fountain. Head back down the trail path wall toward Goron City, and look for a large grey rock you can destroy with the hammer, revealing a Gold Skulltula at night.
