Farmer Needs Shelter - Enshrouded Guide - IGN

Farmer Needs Shelter is an Enshrouded quest that tasks you with providing shelter for your Farmer so they can operate to their full potential. If you're wondering what exactly constitutes 'shelter' and how to create it, we've got everything you need to know in this Enshrouded guide.

So you've successfully completed the Growing Stronger Together quest and got yourself a Farmer to spice up your base. But the Farmer can't thrive without some shelter! The first thing you need to get started is some sort of room. You will probably already have a decent base going by the time you rescue the Farmer.

But if not, the lands are full of ruins in Enshrouded, and if you don't have enough materials to craft a base from scratch, those places offer excellent base opportunities. Many of them will only require a little patching up, and they are good to go! Rookmore and Long Keep are great first base options!

If you're making a base or house for the Farmer from scratch, your first stop should be the workbench. There, you can craft building materials that you can use to create walls, floors, windows, and doors for your structure. Then, equip your Construction Hammer and select a floor tile. Lay out a base in whatever shape feels good for you, then craft some walls to border it.

Place a roof on top to complete your building. It doesn't even need a door to count as shelter, although adding one is a good idea. Once your structure is complete, craft a bed to place in there. The most basic bed option is the Crude Mattress, which you can craft using the following materials:

4x Torn Cloth: Found by defeating enemies.

4x Plant Fiber: Gathered from bushes and shrubbery.

Place your bed inside the structure, then use your Summoning Staff to summon the Farmer to the area. Click on the bed to assign it to her and complete your quest!
