Mophie’s new wireless chargers stay fast and cool without noisy fans.

To ensure its new Qi2.2 wireless chargers consistently deliver power at 25W without overheating, Mophie’s StealthCharge tech relocates some of the charging components to the device’s base while a heat sink transfers heat away from the magnetic pad. The new collection includes a 4-in-1, 3-in-1, and a travel charger featuring the tech. Google’s new Dreambeans AI app is… different.

Gozde Oznur, the product manager behind the new app, told me the idea is to use Dreambeans as a place to experiment with using AI to combine all the data Google has about you into proactive, helpful “stories.” I’ve had the app for a couple of days, and outside of a lot of shopping recommendations, some of the stuff is cool! It told me to get my devices ready for WWDC, and had some helpful info for a train trip. But I cannot get used to these AI-generated pictures of me. Just can’t do it. Elon Musk’s Boring Company is going to Dubai.

The tunnel-digging venture says it will build “a cutting-edge passenger transport tunnel project” that’s “4 miles (6.4km), comprising four stations, linking the Dubai International Financial Centre and Dubai Mall.” The Boring Company opened its first “loop” in Las Vegas in 2021, where it uses a fleet of human-operated Tesla vehicles to transport people across the city’s convention center. Musk’s previous business dealings with Dubai include a $700 million investment from a secretive VC firm to fund his acquisition of Twitter. Here’s Apple’s iPhone Duo design guidance for app developers.

It’s an interesting video that gives you a better idea of how apps might look on the device. I really like all the different ways apps can appear based on the “pose” of the Duo, and I hope a lot of developers do the right things to make that all work. Apps that aren’t updated for iOS 27 SDK might look a little wonky, though. [Media: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=do3UqxfYc3I]
