North Carolina couldn't maintain a double-digit advantage during a 28-20 defeat against Clemson on Saturday.

Head coach Bill Belichick's squad led 17-3 in the second quarter of the game before suffering the loss. Belichick-coached teams had previously won 67 consecutive games in which they were up by at least 14 points, via ESPN.

North Carolina fell to 2-1 this season under Belichick, who is in his second year with the Tar Heels following his legendary tenure as head coach of the New England Patriots.
