The Kentucky Wildcats pulled a massive upset on Saturday at Kyle Field , knocking off No. 9 Texas A&M, 31-21, in Bryan-College Station, Texas.

Texas A&M and Kentucky entered the half tied 7-7, but it was all Wildcats in the second half, as they put up 24 points en route to a signature upset victory for first-year head coach Will Stein.

Kentucky's impressive performance was largely due to a strong outing from quarterback Kenny Minchey, who went 14-of-18 for 252 yards and two touchdowns. The Wildcats' offense also dominated on the ground, with CJ Baxter racking up 87 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, the Aggies struggled to find any success running the ball outside of Marcel Reed, as former Aggie defensive coordinator Jay Bateman had his unit firing on all cylinders in his return to College Station.
