North Carolina offensive tackle will visit Tennessee for Texas game
Tennessee will host a 2028 offensive tackle from North Carolina during the Texas football game.
2028 offensive tackle Zamir Jackson will visit Tennessee for the Vols' football game against Texas on Saturday. Kickoff between the Vols and Longhorns is slated for noon EDT at Neyland Stadium.
"Excited to announce I'll be in attendance this weekend as the Vols take on the Longhorns," Jackson announced . "Can't wait to soak in the atmosphere at Neyland!"
The 6-foot-5, 255-pound prospect is from Southeast Raleigh High School in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Tennessee offered Jackson a scholarship on Tuesday and he will visit the Vols for the first time.
Wake Forest was the first school to offer Jackson a scholarship on Jan. 20. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Charlotte, UConn, Virginia Tech, Bethune-Cookman, Georgia Tech, Kent State, Troy, Appalachian State, Cincinnati and Nebraska .
The Cornhuskers offered him on Wednesday after the Vols.
Quarterback Kaden Craft is Tennessee' only 2028 commitment.
