Vizzina, a senior, was listed as probable Sept. 16. He started the first two games for Clemson (1-1), but freshman Tait Reynolds is getting his first career start against the Tar Heels (1-1) on Sept. 19 (noon, ESPN).
Vizzina played the first three series of the Georgia Southern game in Week 2, but coach Dabo Swinney said he left the game because he couldn't feel his left (non-throwing) arm.
Swinney said Sept. 15 that he expected Vizzina to be available as the backup quarterback against North Carolina, based on what doctors have told him.
