One of the biggest games of the 2026 college football season comes with significant concerns about weather on game day.

The Georgia Bulldogs' trip to Tuscaloosa to play the Alabama Crimson Tide will be affected in some capacity by the rains from Hurricane Isaias.

There are no plans to move the biggest game of Week 6, but the conditions could absolutely be a factor inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The conditions for most of Saturday's other games are projected to be much better, including the Big Ten clash on the west coast between the UCLA Bruins and Oregon Ducks.

All of the forecasts for Week 6's top college football games can be found here on The Weather Channel.

A good amount of the talk building up to the Georgia-Alabama clash has been about the weather.

Hurricane Isaias is bearing down on the southeast, but as of Wednesday night, the game is still on in Tuscaloosa, per CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz.

Showers are in the forecast for most of Saturday, but come Saturday night, there is only a 40 percent chance of rain.

The wet conditions would lead many people to lean with the Under 51.5 from a betting perspective.

The under might have even been in play in perfect conditions. Georgia hasn't allowed over 20 points this season, while Alabama's held four of its five opponents to 23 points or fewer.

Georgia owns the seventh-best team defense in the FBS. The Bulldogs allow just 244.6 yards per game. That number will be tested by the two-way dynamic play of Keelon Russell.

The one weakness between the two defenses is the Alabama secondary, which has allowed 234 passing yards per game.

Gunner Stockton comes into Saturday with a completion percentage of 75.5, 13 passing touchdowns and just one interception across UGA's five victories.

Stockton also owns the edge in experience over Russell. The multi-year UGA starting quarterback had 15 passing touchdowns and two interceptions in six games against Top 25 opposition last season. He had four touchdown throws in two games versus Alabama in 2025.

Russell has proved that he is capable of handling the big moments so far as the Bama starting quarterback, but this will be his toughest test yet, and he might not be able to lead the Tide past a UGA team with a stout defense and one of the more experienced signal-callers in the SEC.

The Oregon Ducks will play their second straight west coast opponent from the Big Ten on Saturday.

Oregon beat the USC Trojans two weeks ago thanks to Dylan Raiola's standout showing in place of the injured Dante Moore.

Moore is not expected to be available for the Week 6 clash with the UCLA Bruins, per CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz.

The oddsmakers still have Oregon as an 11.5-point favorite despite Moore being out. Raiola threw for 269 yards and a pair of touchdowns against USC.

UCLA comes into Eugene at 4-0 with three 45-plus-point performances, led by quarterback Nico Iamaleava.

Oregon is the first Top 25 opponent the Bruins will face, but there's still the potential to put up points. The Ducks let up at least 27 points to all three of their FBS opponents this season.

Raiola and Iamaleava could each have big days against two defenses that give up over 300 total yards per game.

Oregon has the better talent on paper, but it's a bit difficult to back it as a double-digit favorite until its defense plays better.

In this case, the Over 58.5 is the better look because we know for sure that both offenses can move the ball well and put up points.

Expert CFB Predictions for the Biggest Week 6 Games 🔒

Arch Manning and the Texas Longhorns are 10-1 in their last 11 games, a run that started in last year's Red River Rivalry game against the Oklahoma Sooners.

Manning, Cam Coleman and Co. are off to a 4-0 start that includes a home win over the Ohio State Buckeyes and a tough road win over the Tennessee Volunteers.

It's no surprise to see the Longhorns as a 7.5-point favorite against the Sooners because of their early-season results.

Texas is 3-1 in its last four meetings with Oklahoma. The Sooners scored nine points across those three defeats.

A bet on Texas at 7.5 points seems quite easy to make if you consider the September results, the historical trends and the team's defensive numbers in 2026.

Texas held three of its four opponents to 17 points or fewer. It is one of 14 FBS teams to allow 13 points per game or fewer.

Oklahoma struggled in its two biggest games of the season to date, both of which ended up in losses.

The Sooners were outclassed by the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs by a 41-13 score and they mustered just 10 points on the road against the Michigan Wolverines.

Upsets are always a possibility in rivalry games, but it feels like the chips are stacked against Oklahoma in this specific matchup.
