Arch Manning, Sayin, Jeremiah Smith Box Score Stats, Highlights, Heisman Hype from Ohio State-Texas

Arch Manning led the Texas Longhorns on one of the best comebacks in recent college football memory to beat Julian Sayin, Jeremiah Smith and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Manning and the Longhorns scored 21 fourth-quarter points to erase a 17-point deficit and knock off the top-ranked team in the country.

Manning recovered from a brutal opening half to lead the fourth-ranked Longhorns to a victory.

The Texas quarterback hit Ryan Wingo on a touchdown pass to begin the comeback.

Manning played well on the two other scoring drives in the fourth quarter, both of which resulted in rushing touchdowns by Hollywood Smothers.

Smothers ran in the game-winning touchdown with 25 seconds left.

Prior to the Texas comeback, Sayin, Smith and Ohio State broke out to a sizable advantage.

Smith looked unstoppable through stretches of the first half. He was the game's leading receiver with 164 yards and a score.

Smith's production dried up, and in turn, so did the Buckeyes' scoring potential.

Sayin threw for 278 yards, one touchdown and an interception. He played well, but he was ultimately overshadowed by Manning's come-from-behind effort.

Texas' win now sets it up for a chance to be No. 1 in the AP poll on Monday. The Longhorns are next in action in Week 3 against UTSA. Ohio State returns home to face Kent State.
