Puka Nacua will be back for the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4 as the team faces the Philadelphia Eagles, head coach Sean McVay announced on Friday.

McVay said Nacua "looked sharp" during Thursday's practice and that the team will likely have him on a snap count.

The wide receiver has missed the last two games while dealing with a hip/groin issue. He returned to practice on Wednesday, and while he was listed as a limited participant on Thursday, Nacua said it was a full day of work for him.

"It's exciting," Nacua said. "That's my safe space out there, and to be out there with the guys, I think that's been the most important thing, feeling that camaraderie and then also the ability to put my foot in the ground."

Nacua has not played since the Rams' Week 1 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers in Australia where he caught five passes for 74 yards.

How eager is he to get back on the field against the Eagles?

"I can't think of anything else but smiling," Nacua said.

Before Week 3, McVay told ESPN Los Angeles that Nacua was " not making great progress " in his recovery. That sounded alarm bells, but he added the injury is not a long-term concern and the team was just being cautious. The expectation was for the NFL's receptions leader last season to come back for the Eagles game.
