Having won four of their last five games, the Green Bay Packers are going to get reinforcements for the stretch run with Micah Parsons eyeing a return in late-November.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and ESPN, the Packers and Parsons have Nov. 25 against the Los Angeles Rams targeted for the five-time Pro Bowler to make his season debut.

Rapaport added the Packers are expected to open Parsons' practice window next week as he continues the ramp-up process in his rehab from a torn ACL.

Parsons originally tore the ACL in his left knee in Week 15 against the Denver Broncos last season.

While the Packers were mum throughout the offseason about his potential return date, Parsons said in August that Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys was "very realistic" for his first appearance in 2026.

"Is it possible? Yes, so I wouldn't say it's not possible. At the same time, in the next 10, 12 weeks from now, we've got to make it possible by putting the work in," Parsons added.

After Week 6 came and went with Parsons still on the physically unable to perform list, his timeline remained up in the air.

ESPN's Rob Demovsky noted on Thursday the Packers have historically taken a cautious approach with players coming this type of injury and they "almost never put a player recovering from a torn ACL on the practice field until nine months after the date of surgery."

A return to practice next week would mark just over 10 months since Parsons had surgery to repair his ACL. It also gives the Packers a 21-day window to get him up to game speed before they have to put him on the 53-man roster or he will miss the remainder of the season.

The Packers-Rams matchup at SoFi Stadium is the NFL's first-ever Thanksgiving Eve game. It will also come after Green Bay's bye in Week 11, giving Parsons extra recovery time before and after the game assuming he does end up playing.

Despite being one of four NFC teams with at least five wins so far this season, the Packers are currently in last place in their own division. They are behind the undefeated Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears (5-2) and Detroit Lions (4-2) in the NFC North.

Parsons' return will provide a huge boost to a Packers defense that already leads the NFL with 22 sacks. He has recorded at least 12 sacks in each of his first five seasons, including 12.5 in 13 games last year.
