Bijan Robinson Will Be a Hall of Famer After Making NFL History with Rare Stats, Says Drake London

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London paid running back Bijan Robinson the ultimate compliment following his dominant performance in a 35-14 win over the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.

Speaking to reporters after Robinson went off for 213 total yards and two touchdowns, London said, "He's going to be a gold jacket wearer. It's really, really cool. Just blessed to be part of something like that. It's dope. Little me is excited [to be his teammate]."

Flattered by London's comments, Robinson told reporters , "He said I was a Hall of Famer? Oh my gosh. That means a lot. Me and Drake, that's my real-life brother. I call him my blood brother. I think Drake is a Hall of Famer, as a person and on the field."

In the midst of his fourth NFL season, Robinson is already a two-time Pro Bowler and one-time First Team All-Pro.

Last season was his best NFL campaign to date, as Robinson led the NFL in yards from scrimmage with 2,298 and scored 11 touchdowns.

Through three games this season, Robinson leads the league in both rushing yards (349) and total yards (467), plus he has scored three touchdowns.

Per OptaStats, Robinson made history on Thursday, becoming the first NFL player to ever total 150 or more scrimmage yards and a touchdown in five consecutive road games:

The Falcons' affinity for feeding Robinson the ball on the road makes sense given that he is by far their most potent offensive weapon.

Atlanta's offense looked far better as a whole Thursday than it did over the season's first two weeks thanks to the return of quarterback Michael Penix Jr. after tearing his ACL last season.

Penix opened things up for Robinson and the running game by keeping the Green Bay defense honest with the threat of the pass.

As good as Robinson is under any circumstances, he figures to be far more dangerous moving forward if Penix can hold down the QB1 spot.

With regard to the Hall of Fame, Robinson has many years of football ahead of him, but there is no doubt he is on a solid pace that could one day lead to his enshrinement in Canton, Ohio.
