Derrick Henry Calls Bijan Robinson NFL's 'Best' RB, 'I Ain't Going to Shy Away From it'

The Baltimore Ravens' Derrick Henry apparently doesn't feel he's currently the NFL's best running back.
Henry called the Atlanta Falcons' Bijan Robinson "the best in the game right now" when speaking to reporters ahead of a Week 5 matchup between the Falcons and Ravens.
"He's doing it all," Henry said Thursday (h/t the Baltimore Banner 's Jonas Shaffer). "I ain't going to shy away from it. He's doing a great job."
Robinson is heading into Week 5 with 494 rushing yards, the second most in the NFL, despite a relatively slow start to his 2026 campaign.
The Falcons star was held to fewer than 85 rushing yards in each of his team's season-opening losses at the Pittsburgh Steelers and to the visiting Carolina Hurricanes.
Robinson saw his production jump after quarterback Michael Penix Jr. returned in Week 3.
He has racked up a total of 339 rushing yards and four touchdowns in consecutive road wins at the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints.
Robinson and the Falcons are looking to ride that momentum into the matchup against a Ravens team dealing with uncertainty while Lamar Jackson nurses an ankle injury.
Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said earlier this week he doesn't expect the team's offensive game plan to change much if the team turns to backup quarterback Tyler Huntley. The Ravens have already relied on Henry, who ranks fourth in the NFL with 374 rushing yards, to play the majority of offensive snaps so far this season.
The defense could be making more adjustments. Defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver said it was a possibility the Ravens could deploy three linebackers in packages designed to limit Robinson.
Whichever quarterback is starting for the Ravens, Henry and Robinson will be expected to play key roles for their respective teams when the Week 5 matchup kicks off at 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday in Atlanta.
