Brian Thomas Jr. isn't sweating any trade rumors as he continues to have a background role in the Jacksonville Jaguars' offense.
"Everybody's entitled to their own opinion," he told reporters Wednesday. "I just go out there, do what I do, and just try to go out there and be the best player I can be."
Thomas, 24, was a Pro Bowler as a rookie after catching 87 passes for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns. But he struggled last season, pulling in just 48 receptions for 707 yards and two touchdowns last year, calling into question whether he was a good fit in Liam Coen's offense.
Those doubts have lingered into 2026, with Thomas managing just nine catches for 105 yards and a touchdown in six games. It wouldn't be a surprise if the Jaguars ultimately chose to move him, though for now he's worried about the things he can control.
"Everybody goes through adversity," Thomas told reporters. "You've just got to keep fighting through it. That's the only way I know how to get through, just keep fighting through it. And that's what I'm going to continue to do, keep fighting and keep coming in with a good mindset, keep working hard each and every day at practice. Going out there, doing the little things, trying to be the best that I can be, blocking, doing all the little things, just keep fighting through it."
