Jets CB Talks Potential Trade Request, 'Definitely Frustrated' with Role After New Contract

New York Jets cornerback Nahshon Wright revealed that he's "definitely frustrated" with his role on the team's defense despite not officially requesting a trade yet, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini .

"Not formally...(But) I've expressed my feelings (to the team)," Wright said, per Cimini.

He signed a fully guaranteed one-year contract worth $3.5 million with the Jets in May, but has primarily operated as a depth option this season.

"I'm open to anything at this point," Wright said, per Cimini . "I just want to go where I can play, whether it's here or somewhere else. I just want to contribute. I know what I can do and I think I put that on display [last season]. So, yeah, it's definitely frustrating."
