Fox Sports star hopes Justin Tucker ‘never plays a snap for the Chiefs’

The Kansas City Chiefs ruffled feathers on Wednesday by signing former All-Pro kicker Justin Tucker to their practice squad. The 37-year-old, who played for the Baltimore Ravens from 2012-2024, was once considered arguably the best NFL kicker in league history, but his reputation never recovered after The Baltimore Banner reported that 16 massage therapists accused him of sexual misconduct.

Per T he Baltimore Banner, the alleged misconduct took place between 2012 and 2016, although Tucker has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.

"I did not act inappropriately at any point before, during, or after a professional bodywork treatment session, nor have I ever been told I am unwelcome at any massage therapy provider," Tucker told OutKick . "I absolutely respect the massage therapy profession and more so the individuals who work as massage therapists."

Even with his denials, Kansas City signing him to the practice squad was a widely panned move across the NFL world, and Fox Sports analyst made it clear that he doesn't want him to see the field for his favorite team this year.

"Going on the record that I hope Justin Tucker never plays a snap for the Chiefs," Wright wrote on X. "For those wondering, I feel the same way about Tyreek. If you want to hear my deeper thoughts about a potential Tyreek signing (many apply to Tucker), I did them 2 weeks ago, and here they are."

In his media session on Wednesday, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that Tucker has already served his punishment from the NFL ( a 10-game suspension) and that he'd be leaving things there.

"I'm not going to get into all of that," Reid said. "To bring him in here, I did some homework. He's here, and he's on the practice squad, so we roll with it."

The Chiefs have not announced if Tucker will be on the active roster on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
