The Tennessee Titans are "more likely" to trade wide receiver Calvin Ridley than running back Tony Pollard, NFL insider Tom Pelissero reported Saturday on his Substack.

That likelihood is due to Ridley's position on the Titans' depth chart as well as "demand at the position," Pelissero reported.

The Titans started selling after falling to 1-6 ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline by dealing defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a package that included two first-round picks.

Pelissero reported "the Titans have shown no urgency to move Ridley," but that could change "with the ball rolling after the Simmons trade."

Pollard, 29, leads the Titans with 487 rushing yards in seven games this season as his team's biggest threat on the ground.

Ridley was seen as a candidate to be cut ahead of his age-31 season before he agreed to a restructured contract to stick around in Tennessee, per Pelissero . He has made just five catches for 81 yards in six games while Cam Ward has prioritized other targets including Carnell Tate, Wan'Dale Robinson and Elic Ayomanor.

Both players are potential trade targets because of their contract status. Pollard is playing on an expiring deal. Ridley is signed through 2027, but he could once more be a release candidate given his money past this season is not guaranteed.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler previously identified the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers as candidates to add a wideout ahead of the deadline.
