Tom Brady expands his media empire as he partnered with FOX Sports for a strategic investment in his creative studio

Tom Brady, the seven time Super Bowl champion, is easily one of the most strategic entrepreneurs in the league. The NFL icon has invested in several emerging and popular brands and has built a massive fortune for himself. Amid this, his creative content and marketing studio Shadow Line has signed another deal/Tom Brady’s marketing and content studio signs a deal with the FOX SportsAs per The Hollywood Reporter, a few months ago, Tom Brady’s creative content and marketing studio Shadow Line signed a deal with FOX Sports for multi million dollars.The financial details were not disclosed as FOX Sports made a strategic investment.In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, FOX Sport’s executive producer Eric Shanks said, “Once we met them, it became pretty clear that a partnership with Shadow Lion and Tom could give Fox Sports, I think, a different gear, a new gear, and as time went on, it became a natural conversation and investment for the long term…”FOX Sport’s executive producer Eric Shanks added, “We’re not necessarily private equity, just looking for deal flow,...”The seven time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady weighed in on it as he said, “I think a lot of it is just shared values and shared principles…I think if you look at Fox and that culture of people, and the amazing energy from the top, from Lachlan [Murdoch] and Eric Shanks, who I work with, and [Fox Sports executive producer and president of production] Brad Zager, all the incredible passion they have for telling stories, we do it every weekend. And then I look at Shadow Lion, they’ve got just incredible drive to succeed.”Gilad Haas, the co-founder of Shadow Lion, added, “I see this as kind of a new chapter for us and for the business as we expand to produce more longer form and continue to produce digital and short form content, continue to be talent-led in a lot of the things that we do, and now have a really great partner in Fox who’s eager to distribute great content, to maintain the premium experience that they’ve developed for sports fans…”What is Tom Brady working on alongside FOX Sports?Following Fox Sports' strategic equity investment into Shadow Lion, the two companies aligned on a series of original projects.This includes the docuseries about the University of Michigan Football program which is the flagship project under the deal. The series is executive produced by Tom Brady and former Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh as the NFL icon is also set to make on camera appearances.The second one is Fanatics Flag Football Classic which the Shadow Lion is co-producing the broadcast for this high-profile celebrity exhibition tournament held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
