Will Lutz kicked a 53-yard field goal to win it at Mile High Stadium to move Denver to 4-2 and drop the defending champion Seahawks to 3-3.

Seattle had taken a first-quarter lead with a Jason Myers field goal, before the Broncos put together two scoring drives in the second - one ending with a JK Dobbins four-yard score and the other with RJ Harvey running in from the one.

They didn't find the end zone again and managed just 168 total yards compared to Seattle's 353, but kept the game close with a tremendous defensive performance that included five sacks and two interceptions of Seattle quarterback Darnold.

Darnold completed just 27 of 51 attempts with a quarterback rating of 52.6, but was able to put together two scoring drives in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime as Denver struggled to move the ball themselves. Broncos QB Bo Nix threw for just 107 yards in an underwhelming outing.

George Holani ran in from one yard out after an 11-play, 67-yard drive with five minutes remaining, with Darnold converting the two-point conversion to Rashid Shaheed with a tipped catch at the back of the end zone to bring Seattle within three.

The Seahawks defense held their own and after a Shaheed return had given Darnold excellent field position with less than a minute remaining, Myers was good from 34 yards to send the game to overtime.

However, on their first possession in OT, Broncos corner Ja'Quan McMillian stepped in front of Shaheed for an interception and the excellent field position allowed Lutz to kick the winner.
