NFL fans have ripped into Bo Nix and Sam Darnold after the Denver Broncos edged the Seattle Seahawks 17-14 in overtime in a game dominated by defensive plays and quarterback struggles.
Denver improved to 4-2 despite producing just 168 yards of total offence while Seattle dropped to 3-3 after Darnold threw two interceptions.
Nix completed 17 of 27 passes for just 107 yards and failed to throw a touchdown. Darnold had more production with 278 passing yards but also finished with two interceptions and no touchdowns.

The Broncos took a 14-3 lead into half-time behind touchdown runs from J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey before Seattle fought back in the fourth quarter.
George Holani's touchdown and a successful two-point conversion pulled the Seahawks within three before Jason Myers tied the game with a field goal with three seconds remaining.
Denver's defence eventually settled the contest in overtime when Ja'Quan McMillian intercepted Darnold, setting up Wil Lutz for the game-winning 53-yard field goal.
However, fans were far from impressed by either quarterback's performance.
One fan called it "one of the worst QB matchups ever", while another joked: "Watching Nix and Darnold throw the pigskin was so inspirational I might have to try and go pro myself."
The Broncos' offensive struggles also drew plenty of attention. One supporter wrote: "Denver wins 17-14 in overtime. The offense punted on every second-half drive and the defense still dragged them to a win. Somebody buy that defense steak dinners."
Another fan simply declared: "The QB battle tonight was the worst I have ever seen!" Seattle's mistakes were also criticised, with one reaction stating: "Seahawks get in their own way."
Another fan went even further: "If this was how the Super Bowl would've been, I don't wish Denver won." A Broncos supporter admitted: "As a Broncos fan, not even that happy we won. Big issues on offense…"
Seattle's statistical advantage made the defeat even harder to take, with one fan writing:
"Outgained them by almost 200 yards and still lose in OT. Seattle inventing new ways to waste a season." Another added: "Happy for the win but Bo Nix is not it."
One supporter also criticised Darnold: "Sam Darnold is one of the worst QBs in the league and Seattle is terrible. I'd be surprised if they make the playoffs."
The harshest verdict on Nix perhaps came from a Broncos fan who wrote: "If Bo could be even remotely average, we'd be the best team in the league."
Denver now travels to face the Arizona Cardinals on October 25 while Seattle hosts the Kansas City Chiefs on the same day. The quarterbacks will be under plenty of scrutiny after a night that left fans questioning both offences.
