Patrick Mahomes Reacts to Video of Bettors Hitting 1st TD Scorer Bet on Chiefs QB's Run vs. Broncos

Patrick Mahomes' return to the field nine months after tearing his ACL and LCL was a good one for him, the Kansas City Chiefs and adventurous bettors who wagered on him to score the game's first touchdown.

The three-time Super Bowl MVP reacted to a social media video of showing bettors react as he scampered for 15 yards to find the end zone on the Chiefs' opening possession against the Denver Broncos.

The bettors put $100 on Mahomes at +2000 to score the first touchdown. It wound up making them $2,100.

There was no shortage of drama before the Mahomes touchdown. One play before he scored, he got into the end zone from five yards out except it was nullified due to a holding penalty on rookie left tackle Kahlil Benson.

Mahomes didn't look like he had missed a step despite coming off a major knee injury. The 15-yard score was tied for the longest touchdown run of his career.

Kansas City beat the Broncos 31-10, snapping a three-game losing streak against its AFC West rivals dating back to the 2024 season.
