· 231 words

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase was forced into the blue medical tent early against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4. He later left the contest to be evaluated for a concussion.

After being initially declared as questionable to return, Chase was ruled out of the game at the start of the third quarter.

Chase was injured on a second-quarter drive. With the Bengals pushing down the field, Chase caught a quick pass and looked to turn the ball up the field. As he tried to break away from a defender, Chase had his face mask grabbed.

As he was going to the ground, Chase was hit hard by another defender.

The All-Pro wideout went into the blue medical tent on the sideline and missed the rest of the drive. The Bengals settled for a field goal, tying things 3-3.

Chase was then spotted walking off the field and heading to the team's locker room, where he was initially deemed questionable to return. Coming out of halftime, however, Chase was ruled out for the rest of the game. He finished the contest with three catches for 27 yards.

Chase must not have been feeling too bad, as he sent out a tweet during the fourth quarter of the contest.

It's unclear whether Chase will face punishment for the tweet, as player are typically prohibited from posting on social media during games.
