Sean McVay Drops Brutally Honest Quote About Rams' Loss to Sean Payton, Broncos in New Video

Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay didn't get too down on himself following his team's 30-26 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday night.

The Rams threw away a 16-point halftime lead as they suffered their second defeat of the season. McVay called it "tough" but said the result is something he and his players can learn from.

Rather than with what he said, McVay may have let reporters and fans read between the lines based on how he handled the presser. He wasn't exactly generous with his time.

The coach didn't delve too much into the controversial pass interference penalty that aided Denver's comeback, either.

Late in the fourth quarter, Rams cornerback Josh Wallace was flagged for interference despite Broncos receiver Pat Bryant initiating the contact. What could've been an interception instead turned into a first down, and the Broncos took the lead later on the drive.

McVay told reporters his initial impression was that it "looked like it was a good, competitive play from my vantage point."

If Wallace's interception stands, Los Angeles likely holds on to win. But that stroke of bad luck isn't the sole reason the Rams lost.

Matthew Stafford threw a costly pick-six in the fourth quarter and had another interception on the game's final play as L.A. was inside the red zone.

The Rams battle another playoff contender in Week 4 as they hit the road to play the Philadelphia Eagles. There are some issues for McVay and his staff to iron out as they draw up their game plan.
