Fantasy Football Week 4 Waiver-Wire Pickups, Rankings and Box Score Stat Projections

The 2026 NFL season is readying its approach to the first-quarter mark of the campaign.

How is fantasy football life treating you so far?

Ideally, you're setting sights on an unblemished 4-0 start. But if you're hovering around .500 or even starving for your first victory, fear not—There is time to turn things around.

You just need to flip that switch sooner than later. That requires both deft handling of your current roster and shrewd navigation of the waiver wire, but luckily, we're here to help with both. While laying out our early rankings at the marquee positions for Week 4, we'll also touch on priority targets off the waiver wire for each spot.

Waiver-wire target: Marcus Mariota, WAS (vs. IND)

Mariota's first start in place of a hobbled Jayden Daniels looked similar to Mariota's relief appearance last week: pretty efficient and productive through the air, pretty quiet on the ground. It'd be great if Mariota's rushing impact increased, but he is streamable without it if he keeps throwing like this (30-of-47 for 294 yards and four scores so far).

Projected stats: 20-of-30 for 201 yards, two touchdowns; four rushes for 19 yards

Waiver-wire target: Ollie Gordon II, MIA (at MIN)

De'Von Achane suffered a worrisome injury Sunday, and Gordon immediately got to work on picking up the slack. While Gordon was far from great, his impressive volume perhaps pointed toward some great outings in his near-future: 17 carries, three receptions (on three targets) and Miami's only touchdown. If Achane misses significant time, Gordon has a chance to make significant noise.

Projected stats: 18 carries for 74 yards, one touchdown; three receptions for 29 yards

Waiver-wire target: Keenan Allen, IND (vs. HOU)

Alec Pierce landed on IR on Saturday, and Allen immediately seized his opportunity. Now, this wasn't Allen's first chance to make an impact (he was targeted 11 times over the first two weeks), but he still made these opportunities count (six catches on nine targets for 63 yards and a score). And with Pierce missing a minimum of four games, those opportunities should keep coming Allen's way.

Projected stats: Seven receptions for 72 yards, one touchdown
