While Cleveland Browns fans continue to muddle their way through the 2026-27 NFL season, the struggling fanbase has the 2027 NFL Draft to look forward to throughout the course of the regular season.
Last week, the quarterback tracker highlighted Texas' Arch Manning , who led his squad to an impressive 20+ point comeback against the Ohio State Buckeyes . Now, as we enter Week Three of the 2026 college football season, there is a new batch of quarterbacks Browns fans must keep their eyes on.
Here are three quarterbacks Browns fans must watch during Week Three of the college football season.
Saturday, 4:15 PM EST vs. Mississippi State (SEC Network)
South Carolina's LaNorris Sellers finally makes his first appearance on the college quarterback tracker this season.
At 6-foot-3, 245 lbs., Sellers possesses all the tools to become a star at the NFL level. In his two regular-season starts this year, the prolific prospect threw for 366 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 120 yards and a touchdown. Now, Sellers will receive a golden opportunity to boost his stock this weekend in his first conference matchup of the season.
If Sellers can maintain his strong start and outduel rising star Kamario Taylor at home, you may start hearing his name more in first-round conversations.
After a dazzling 2026 debut against the Louisville Cardinals, Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss has caught the attention of many NFL fanbases searching for a quarterback.
Chambliss may not have the ideal frame for a starting quarterback in the NFL (5-foot-11, 208 lbs.), but his clutchness in crunch time has been on point since last year's College Football Playoffs. The electric playmaker is up to 531 passing yards and five touchdowns in his first two games this season against the Cardinals and the Charlotte 49ers.
Unfortunately for Chambliss and the Rebels, the program must take on the red-hot LSU Tigers at home on Saturday evening. This should be another key game for Chambliss as he reviews his film for the upcoming draft .
Saturday, 7:30 PM EST vs. Michigan State (NBC)
It's hard to judge Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr's draft stock after the first two weeks of the college football season due to the lack of competition.
However, despite the easy schedule, Carr continues to show promise during his second season as the Fighting Irish's starting quarterback. When facing both the Wisconsin Badgers and the Rice Owls, Carr threw for 492 passing yards and six touchdowns while completing 71.4 percent of his attempts.
Do the Michigan State Spartans pose a threat to Notre Dame this weekend? Probably not. But if Carr wants to keep his name in the conversation for the 2027 NFL Draft class, he must continue to stack his clean performances against the Big 10 Conference member on Saturday.
