Detroit Lions RB Isiah Pacheco lands on IR

Detroit Lions RB Isiah Pacheco (back) was placed on the reserve/injured list which will sideline him for a minimum of four games, according to a source on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Huddle Up: Pacheco had been nursing an MCL injury earlier in the offseason, but this back injury will now cost the new Lion at least four games to start the season. Detroit kept five running backs on their initial 53-man roster with this IR stint likely in mind. Pacheco was slated to start the season as the direct backup to Jahmyr Gibbs, but fantasy managers can stash Pacheco on their benches for now, or potentially cut him if a roster spot is needed.
