· 317 words

The initial SEC Student-Athlete Availability Report has been released ahead of the Auburn Tigers ' road trip to No. 1 Georgia on Saturday.

The Tigers emerge from the bye week relatively healthy, with only two players, tight end Hunter Herring and offensive lineman Tai Buster, ruled out for Saturday's game at Georgia due to injury. However, the biggest news from the initial report is that linebacker Xavier Atkins is officially ruled out.

Atkins, who is tied for the team lead in sacks and second on the team in tackles, has been suspended for Saturday's game at No. 1 Georgia, according to Auburn head coach Alex Golesh. Golesh first mentioned the suspension during Monday's press conference and clarified Wednesday that Atkins is not with the team during practice this week. Golesh will address Atkins' status again next week.

The Bulldogs will be without several players, including running back Chauncey Bowens, who leads the team in rushing touchdowns with six. However, Georgia received potentially good news on Wednesday as running back Nate Frazier is not on the availability report after missing four straight games with a rib injury. He was not included on the availability report for Georgia's Week 6 game at Alabama ; however, he did not play.

Here is a look at the initial SEC Student-Athlete Availability Report for Auburn vs. Georgia in Week 7.
