The Athletic published the findings of its internal review of Dianna Russini's reporting on Thursday, several months after the release of pictures that revealed her relationship with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.

Vrabel missed the final day of the draft while undergoing counseling in the wake of the release of photos covering multiple years and the review found that their relationship "was in clear violation of The Athletic 's standards." Mike Semel, who conducted the probe, wrote that he has "not found a clear link to conclude that Russini used her platform to help promote Vrabel or help his teams" even though instances of Russini writing favorably of Vrabel come off as "awkward or even uncomfortable."

At a press conference on Thursday, Vrabel was asked if he had any reaction to the findings.

"No, I don't have any reaction ," Vrabel said. "We're moved on and focused on Seattle and focused on the Patriots and focused on getting better this week."

It's not quite " on to Cincinnati ," but the response definitely feels like one that Vrabel's former coach Bill Belichick would give in the same situation.
