The Arizona Cardinals locked up one of their young wide receivers to an extension on Thursday.

According to NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter , the Cardinals have signed wideout Michael Wilson to a three-year, $75 million extension with a maximum value of $78 million.

The deal also includes $47 million in guaranteed compensation.

Wilson had the best season of his career in 2025, finishing with 78 receptions for 1,006 yards and seven touchdowns. He established himself as one of the Cardinals' best playmakers, and there's still room for him to grow.

In three seasons, Wilson has compiled 163 receptions for 2,119 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was selected by the Cardinals in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Stanford.

The Cardinals likely wanted this done before the start of the 2026 season so they could focus on other things, including prepping for the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 13. It will be the Cardinals' first regular-season game of the year.
