FSU soccer records third straight tie in slow showing vs. Louisville

Florida State soccer recorded only three shots in a 0-0 tie with Louisville on Sunday, Sept. 27 at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium.

It's the Seminoles' (4-1-3) third consecutive tie, dating back to a 1-1 draw with Rice, and the first time in program history that it hasn't beaten Louisville, previously 11-0.

FSU didn't record a shot in the first half and only finished the game with one shot on goal. The best opportunity for the Seminoles came with six minutes left in the game as Wrianna Hudson got the ball in front of a wide-open net, but her shot sailed over the crossbar and out of play.

The Cardinals outshot the Seminoles 9-3, including seven in the second half. FSU's defense stood tall, and goalkeeper Kate Okene kept the clean sheet.
