The Pittsburgh Steelers need to find an answer to solve their offensive problems following an underwhelming start to the season.

Mike McCarthy's team has begun their season with one win and a loss, after their Week One victory was followed up with a dreadful showing against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Aaron Rodgers was left frustrated on the back of Sunday's showing, and it is no surprise given the Steelers were only able to score a single field goal.

Dropped catches have been an issue for the Steelers, but Pittsburgh are also relying heavily on a 42-year-old in a league that is currently seeing mobile quarterbacks flourish.

In what will be Rodgers' final season in the NFL, Dave Portnoy has laid it all out for any Steelers fan hoping to see a postseason run with the veteran QB as the starter.

Over the opening two weeks, the Steelers have only been able to score one receiving touchdown.

It has been a worrying start for McCarthy's offence, who look a real level below what would be expected from Rodgers .

"Why in the world, if you're the Pittsburgh Steelers, are you wasting your time with Aaron Rodgers? We only have so many years on this Earth," Portnoy said on Barstool.

"They're just wasting years. They have absolutely no chance of doing anything."

The Steelers will face the red-hot Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, who were able to hold the Houston Texans to just six points last weekend.

Seattle Seahawks fans have lapped up DK Metcalf's struggles in Pittsburgh after the Steelers traded for the wideout last year.

Drops from the wide receiver have not helped the Steelers at all, but it is clear that Portnoy believes a lot of the blame still lies with Rodgers.
