The four-time Formula 1 champion will start from the back of a 100-driver karting field at Silverstone and try to overtake every competitor within 30 laps. Charles Leclerc also questioned how experienced some of the participants might be compared with a professional Formula 1 driver.Carlos Sainz was even more confident about Max Verstappen's chances.Carlos Sainz recently competed in a karting race where he started 20th because of a reverse-grid format. He said he reached first place within five laps, giving him a simple way to estimate how quickly Max Verstappen could move through the Silverstone field."I did a karting race yesterday with my team. Started 20th because we did reverse grid and I was P1 in five laps. So by my calculations, if there are another 20 times five, in 20 laps Max will be P1 for sure. 15-20 laps, or who knows, depends how much overtaking there is. But he will win it easy."Carlos Sainz's prediction adds confidence to the idea that Max Verstappen could reach the front well before the 30-lap limit. Still, the 100-driver field introduces an element of uncertainty that cannot be measured through normal Formula 1 experience.For Max Verstappen, that appears to be exactly what makes the event interesting.
