“Brought it Home for You”: Dylan Raiola Shares Heartfelt Message for Dante Moore after Oregon QB Carted Off with Scary Injury

When Dylan Raiola transferred to Oregon from Nebraska in January, many believed he would be the new QB1. However, when Dante Moore decided not to go to the NFL yet, Raiola did not become the starter as many had expected. As the two played together at Oregon, though, they have formed a friendship, and when Moore got knocked out cold after a hard hit from USC defenders, the Ducks QB2 shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram story.

"Love you 5! Got your back fam! We brought it home for you!" he wrote in his caption.

It was Raiola who carried Oregon past USC after Moore got hit hard by USC linebacker Desman Stephens, with the Ducks winning 41-27 in the process. One of his biggest highlights was when he threw a touchdown pass to Dakorien Moore to break the deadlock against the Trojans.

As for Dante Moore, play was paused for around 11 minutes as his teammates rushed to his side to make sure he was OK. He then received medical attention and left the game by ambulance. The linebacker who hit him, Desman Stephens, was then ejected for targeting.

Dante Moore will get at least one more week of rest, as the Ducks will have a bye next week. They will then head back home to Eugene, where they host the UCLA Bruins on Oct. 10. Whether or not the Ducks QB1 will be starting the game is still in question.

Oregon Coach Dan Lanning Calls Hit on Dante Moore 'Disgusting'

After the game, Oregon Ducks coach Dan Lanning expressed his thoughts on the way USC linebacker Desman Stephens hit Dante Moore, calling it "disgusting" and saying he wants the USC player to learn something from that situation.

"It's a disgusting play," Lanning said. "We don't want to see it happen. It's disappointing that it happened. I'm praying that our player's healthy, and I'm praying that their player can learn from that situation."

For now, Moore remains in the hospital but is now able to move, according to Lanning.

As for Stephens, he is facing mounting criticism for his behavior after Dante Moore was sent to the hospital. He was "disqualified" from the game but was seen on the sidelines during the second half, where he was smiling and laughing with his teammates.
