Virat Kohli is back in action for Team India and will take the field once again on Sunday as the Men in Blue take on West Indies in the first of the three-match ODI series in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

Kohli last played for India against England at Lord's, where he played a brilliant knock of 74 runs but missed out on his 86th international century. Kohli's wicket proved costly as India narrowly missed out on a historic 387-run chase by 27 runs.

Kohli, along with another former India captain, Rohit Sharma, is preparing for the ODI World Cup, which is only a year from now.

The veteran stars, who now play only in the ODI format, will see the upcoming World Cup as their last dance and would hope to end their memorable journey as a cricketer on a bright note and lift the elusive trophy.

In the series against West Indies, Virat Kohli will also look to break three key records held by Sachin Tendulkar, which include most international centuries and most international runs in home conditions.
