Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly working on extending the contract of Kvicha Kvaratskhelia (25), according to L'Équipe .

Currently under contract with the Paris-based club until 2029, the Georgian could soon be offered a new deal, running until 2030 or 2031, which would include a pay rise. Whilst discussions to this effect have already begun, it appears "highly likely" that an agreement could be reached in the coming weeks.

However, it would appear easier for PSG to finalise the deal before the Ballon d'Or ceremony – for which the winger is a serious contender – in order to avoid negotiations that could quickly become more complicated. Negotiating a clause in advance, in the event of him winning the award, could therefore emerge as a credible possibility.

Having arrived in France from SSC Napoli in the winter of 2025, Kvaratskhelia has established himself as one of the best players in the world, not only posting impressive statistics (28 goals and 19 assists in 84 matches), but also proving decisive at PSG's most crucial moments.
